The purpose of this study is to investigate if there is an association between a diagnosis classification system (CEOS) and a complication classification system (the Smith classification), with the goal of better understanding the outcomes of growth-friendly surgery with relationship to diagnosis. This study uses the Classification of Early Onset Scoliosis (C-EOS) and the Smith classification system to better define the risks associated with growth-friendly spine surgery within this young population. The study did not discover a clear association.
